Steve Galler - The Man with the Golden Banjo
An incredible instrumentalist who started his career as guitarist and vocalist with notable dance bands such as Joe Loss and Nat Temple, and progressed to cabaret with Kenny Ball and the Jazzmen, and Don Lang and his Frantic Five.
His solo banjo act draws on his vast experience of crowd pleasing and huge repertoire from Old Time Music Hall. He draws music from the 20's to the present day - Music for everyone.
He has appeared in numerous Variety and Music Hall shows throughout the U.K. and has also performed on various Cruise Ships. He has appeared in Summer Season, Pantomime and the box-office record breaking 'Seaside Special'.
Steve was proud to perform at HRH The Prince of Wales' 50th Birthday party at Highgrove, and subsequently at several Royal garden parties. He has also performed for HRH Prince Philip and Prince Michael of Kent.
The show is a wonderful 'necklace' consisting of many diverse 'pearls' including Lonnie Donegan, Buddy Holly, Cliff Richard, George Formby, all laced together by Steve's charming story telling and wit.
